Industrial energy monitoring over Modbus RTU.
1PowerControl reads your energy meters and power analyzers every second, sends the data securely to the cloud, and turns it into dashboards, alarms and cost reports, so you can cut demand charges, find waste and prove savings.

What it measures
What does 1PowerControl measure?
Every parameter your meter or power analyzer exposes over Modbus RTU. On a typical three-phase power analyzer that covers the full electrical picture below, sampled every second.
- Voltage
- Per phase, line-to-line and line-to-neutral
- Current
- Per phase and neutral
- Active power
- kW per phase and total
- Reactive & apparent power
- kVAr and kVA
- Power factor
- Per phase and total
- Frequency
- Hz, for supply quality
- Energy
- Import and export kWh, kVArh
- Maximum demand
- Rolling demand against your contract limit
- Harmonics
- THD-V, THD-I and individual harmonics on power analyzers
Features
Everything an energy manager needs, nothing they don’t.
- 01
Real-time dashboards
Every meter, panel and feeder on one screen, updated every second, from the main incomer down to individual machines.
- 02
Alarms that reach people
Thresholds on demand, voltage, power factor and harmonics, with alerts sent to the engineers who can act on them.
- 03
Peak-demand control
See demand climbing towards your contract limit early enough to shed or stagger loads and avoid maximum-demand charges.
- 04
Sub-metering & cost allocation
Split consumption and cost by line, department, floor or tenant from metered data, not estimates.
- 05
Scheduled reports
Daily, weekly and monthly energy reports for engineering, finance and sustainability (ESG) reporting.
- 06
Multi-site
Each site has its own gateway; every site rolls up into one account with site and group views.
Hardware
Which meters and power analyzers are supported?
Any energy meter or power analyzer with an RS-485 Modbus RTU interface, including common models from Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens, Eastron, Janitza and Socomec. Up to 32 meters share one RS-485 line, read by a single 1PC gateway on site.
No meter on a panel yet? We supply and install Modbus RTU meters with the right current transformers as part of the project.
Deployment
From survey to live dashboard.
- 01
Site survey
An engineer reviews your single-line diagram, panels and existing meters, and lists the metering points that matter.
- 02
Meters & wiring
Existing Modbus RTU meters are reused. Where a panel has none, we install meters with suitable current transformers on one RS-485 bus.
- 03
Gateway & commissioning
The 1PC gateway is installed, each meter’s registers are mapped, and readings are checked against the meter displays.
- 04
Go live
Dashboards, alarms and reports are configured with your team, and users get access to the 1PC cloud.
FAQ
Energy monitoring, answered
What is industrial energy monitoring?
Industrial energy monitoring is the continuous measurement of electrical consumption and power quality at panels, feeders and machines. 1PowerControl reads meters every second, so teams can see demand peaks, waste and faults as they happen instead of waiting for the monthly utility bill.
Which meters and power analyzers does 1PowerControl support?
Any energy meter or power analyzer with an RS-485 Modbus RTU interface, including common models from Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens, Eastron, Janitza and Socomec. New register maps are added during commissioning.
What parameters can be monitored?
Per-phase voltage and current, active, reactive and apparent power, power factor, frequency, import and export energy, maximum demand, and, on power analyzers, voltage and current THD and individual harmonics.
How does 1PowerControl reduce energy costs?
By exposing where and when energy is used. Teams act on peak-demand alerts, after-hours load, poor power factor and inefficient machines, and allocate cost to lines, departments or tenants so each owner is accountable for their consumption.
Can I monitor multiple sites from one dashboard?
Yes. Each site has its own gateway, and all sites roll up into one account with site-level and group-level dashboards, alarms and reports.
